A UHNW family in Malibu seeks an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to support the arrival of their baby due May 2026. The role will begin one month prior to the birth and includes compensated onboarding and coordination with existing household staff to ensure a seamless transition once the baby arrives.
The mother is a stay-at-home parent, and the father is a senior executive who travels frequently. The family values discretion, professionalism, and a calm, structured home environment. They are seeking an expert who can confidently guide them through the newborn phase while integrating smoothly into a fully staffed household.
Role Overview
This position focuses exclusively on newborn care during the fourth trimester and early infancy. The Newborn Care Specialist will establish healthy sleep foundations, support feeding routines, and provide education and reassurance to first-time parents as they transition into this new chapter.
Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate newborn care
• Establish and guide healthy sleep foundations and daily rhythm
• Support breast and/or bottle-feeding routines, including proper preparation and sanitation
• Maintain detailed logs of feeding, sleep, and diapering patterns
• Educate and empower parents regarding newborn cues, soothing techniques, and age-appropriate expectations
• Ensure adherence to safe sleep practices
• Maintain nursery organization and baby-related items
• Collaborate professionally with household staff (housekeeper, private chef, estate team)
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced Newborn Care Specialist with prior experience in UHNW or fully staffed homes. They bring a calm, confident presence and understand the rhythm and expectations of estate-level households.
This individual should be both collaborative and self-directed, capable of working harmoniously with staff while also independently managing all newborn-related responsibilities. Strong emotional intelligence and refined communication skills are essential.
Requirements
• 5–10+ years of professional newborn care experience
• Formal NCS training and/or certification preferred
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Strong foundation in infant sleep shaping and feeding support
• Experience working in UHNW or estate-level environments
