Candidate Search

Everyone is welcome to browse our registered newborn care professionals, but families must create a Family Account to connect with providers. A small monthly membership fee (listed on our Fees & Pricing page) unlocks full access, including provider resumes, messaging with premium providers, job and application management, and the option to easily order background screenings (at additional cost).

Families may request a background check on any candidate, but NewbornCare.com does not conduct screening, verification, or background checks on providers. All screening services are optional and fully controlled by the family.

Yes. Many newborn care specialists on our platform list specific areas of expertise, including sleep training, breastfeeding support, preemie care, reflux/colic management, and caring for twins or multiples.

Families and providers coordinate interviews, messaging, offers, and hiring directly. NewbornCare.com does not participate in scheduling or hiring decisions. Those are fully handled between both parties.

Yes. Families can save favorites to easily revisit candidates they’re interested in.

NBC Providers

No. Our platform is completely free for newborn care providers. You can optionally upgrade to a premium account to unlock enhanced visibility and additional features.

No. You can create a provider profile with or without formal credentials. However, if you have certifications such as NCS training, CPR, or lactation/feeding-related credentials, we strongly encourage you to list them to stand out to families.

Creating a profile is quick and easy. Get started here.

Once your profile is complete, families can find you in search results and you can start applying to open jobs immediately.

The more detail, the better. We recommend:

  • An up-to-date resume

  • Clear descriptions of your experience and specialties

  • Certifications or trainings you’ve completed

  • A warm, compelling personal statement

Both. Families can reach out to you directly, and with a premium provider account, you can message families first about job postings you’re interested in.

Our Premium plan for providers is our optional subscription for Newborn Care Specialists who want enhanced visibility and verification. Premium providers receive a verified badge, appear higher in search results, and unlock full messaging access so families can contact them directly.

Verification confirms a provider’s identity and professional information. Once you upgrade to Premium, our team will contact you and approve your verification. A verified badge appears on your profile once the process is complete.
